Paris Fashion Week: Stella McCartney S/S 2011

ENGLISH VERSION Suzy Menkes wrote “It is a compliment, not a criticism, of the look to say that Stella McCartney it reflects the woman behind the label.”, referring to the way female designer cover or reveal legs. And in fact Stella McCartney not only is a fashion designer but also a mother of three children. Her collection reflects both sides of the story: floaty slit dresses in vibrant and shiny colors vs. long, kind of anthroposophical, monochrome cotton dresses, tunic tops and shorts made of denim vs. a white suit. Partly sellable, partly sexy so to speak.
