Milan Fashion Week: Roberto Cavalli S/S 2011

Moment da war doch noch was: Außer Altmeister Giorgio Armani hatte sich Roberto Cavalli einer einheitlichen Farbpalette bedient. Allerdings nicht ganz so konsequent wie Armani. Auf dem Cavalli-Laufsteg wurde die Farbpalette von Nude bis Grau ausgereizt und wirkte wie ein fransiges und schwingende Pastellträumchen. Mode, die nicht unbedingt fürs Cabriofahren oder Segeln gemacht ist, aber zum Loungen auf der Yacht im Hafen von St. Tropez bestens geeignet…

Actually Giorgio Armani wasn’t the only avoiding bright colors – Roberto Cavallis show looked like a pastel dream, meandering from shades of grey to nude. Floaty and fringy dresses were once again the designer’s leitmotiv. Convertibles and sailing boats should be avoided unless you like your dress to be all over the place – literally speaking…
